Mr. Goetz a.k.a. String man

Mr. Goetz has been teaching in Yorktown Heights for the last 12 years. 
Before teaching Mr. Goetz performed with the orchestra's of many Broadway 
shows including some that are currently running on Broadway. Mr. Goetz 
has played at many concert halls and jazz clubs in New York City, and 
currently records for the record company Vitamin Records.
By one estimate Mr. Goetz has taught over 2000 students, many still 
performing on their instruments.

Music and Strings for grades 4 and 5

Providing students with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of string 
performance skills and appreciation of all styles of music. 
Students will learn to read musical notation on their respective instruments 
which include the violin, viola, cello, and bass.
Students will learn how to use both their fingers and bows to produce 
musical 
notes on their instruments.
Students will perform during the school year in various school concerts.
