Mr. Armsrong is in his 15th year teaching at Crompond Elementary. He is the
head coach of the Varsity Girl soccer team at Yorktown High School. Mr.
Armstrong is also an active member on the Building Emergency Response Team.
Mrs. Martino is also in her 15th year teaching at Crompond Elementary. She
is very involved in the Civil and Revolutionary War reenactments, and also
the Shakespear production. She is also a Living History facilitator.
The mission for the Crompond Physical Education program is to engage
students in physical, social, and mental activities that will promote life
long fitness. We hope to improve students muscular strength, flexibility,
and cardiovascular endurance throughout the course of the year. We also will
be introducing students to fun new games, activities, and sports that will
give students many opportunites to succeed in Physical Education class.
