I have been teaching here at Crompond for 6 years in the ungraded special
education class. I have experience with behavior modicifation, peer
sensitivity, cooperative learning, mainstreaming and differentiated
instruction. It is my goal to create a well structured class with also warmth
and encouragement.
I am a proud wife and mother of two boys (2 and 4) and expecting one more
little boy on the way. I share all my funniest children stories with the
students and I sure you will hear them at home.
My mission for my class is to ensure the the students feel safe to be
themselves, no matter what difficulties they may have. It is important to
challenge the students both academically and socially. Students will learn
best when their self-esteem is high and they feel empowered. Students need to
also be exposed to all different types of environments and also different
classes in the building to have many role models. Most of all, everyone in my
class will have fun. We will laugh!
