CROMPOND'S 11TH ANNUAL
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY
2008/2009
 
 
 
 MRS. PROSKIN'S CLASS MADE CARDS TO SEND TO ONE OF HER STUDENT'S , FRANCIS', FATHER
SERVING IN THE WAR.
 
                        
 
WE MADE A BANNER SAYING "THANK YOU AND STAY SAFE".
 
 
                     
 
THE WHOLE CLASS SIGNED IT.
 
                     
                                                                                                                          
 
WE ALSO COLLECTED ITEMS TO MAKE A PACKAGE TO SEND TO HIM. 
         WE HOPE TO HEAR BACK FROM HIM.
WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED!
 
 
 
 
 
We were so lucky to receive this picture from Francis' dad and his troop!!
The piece of cardboard says, "Thank You Crompond!!"
 
 
 
MRS. RUCKSTUHL'S CLASS MADE BEAUTIFUL CARDS FOR THE SOLDIERS.
WE SENT A PACKAGE OUT TO A TROOP IN AFGHANISTAN AND ENCLOSED THEIR CARDS.
 
 
 
Mrs. Graf's class made beautiful cards that will make a BIG difference to the soldiers.
Super job!
 
 
 
 
Mrs. Statler's class joined in and made great cards for the soldiers.
Thanks a bunch!!
 
 
 
Mr. Thompson's class made special letters for a friend of Mr. Thompson's who is serving in the war.
A package with lots of fun stuff was sent to him.
We hope we will hear from him soon.
 
 
 
Ms. Leeper's class made very colorful cards for our soldiers!
I know they will enjoy reading them.

Mrs. Miller/Mrs. Martin's class show off their beautiful cards they made for the soldiers.

Ms. Muldoon/Mrs.Strang's Class did something very special for a unit in Iraq. Her class made 250 cards for each soldier in that unit. We also made cookies and decorated them.
 
 
                
 
Each student had a lot of decorations to choose from.
 
 
   
                
 
 
Some made patriotic designs and smiley faces!
 
 
              
 
This was a fun project and all enjoyed doing it!!
 
 
           
 
 
Even Ms. Muldoon and Mrs. O' Shea had fun decorating cookies!!
 
            
 
A special thanks to Mrs. Racioppo and Mrs. Strang for all their help.

You really will make a difference with the troops!

When  I send packages to the troops I always include a blank notecard addressed back to the school
in hopes that the soldiers will have time to send a little note back.
These are the ones that I have received back so far.
