IT IS THE NATIONAL DAY FOR DOING SOMETHING GOOD!

SOLDIER HOLIDAY CARDS
Holiday cards are needed to send to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I will enclose these cards in a holiday package.
Anyone interested in making a card(s) to send to a soldier please have them to me by:
Thanksgiving cards - By Friday, November 13
Christmas/Hanukkah/Winter Theme - By Friday, December 4

A very special THANK YOU to the staff at Crompond, Mohansic, French Hill and Brookside
for having a dress down day to raise money to mail our soldiers their packages!!

CROMPOND'S 12TH ANNUAL
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY PROJECT
Our Make a Difference Day Project has begun. The students are bringing in items to send to the soldiers in Iraq and
Afghanistan. Some of our classes and students have adopted soldiers and are collecting special items to send to them. Classes are making cards to go along with the packages and the staff had a Dress Down Day to help pay for the shipping.
THANK YOU ALL FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND!!

The following classes have adopted soldiers for the rest of the school year:

These classes have been collecting items to send their soldier a care package.
They also have been making cards and banners to send along with the packages.
During the school year I will be doing special projects with these classes like
making cookies and sending "theme" care packages!!
