About Mrs. Swenson

     I had wanted to be a teacher since I was about 5 years old.  I placed my 
stuffed animals in my tree house and proceeded to teach them about what we 
could see below us!  I became serious about the life of a teacher when I was 
in high school in Massachusetts. That's history!

     I have been teaching since college graduation in 1968.  I have taught 
High School English in Chicago, 3rd grade in the Bronx, and at Crompond 
School since 1983!  I love 5th graders!  They are very smart and they love 
school!  I work very hard to keep the school day interesting, varied, and 
filled with challenges and opportunities.
