All 8th grade students will be screened during the school year for scoliosis during gym in the Winter or Spring.A letter will be sent home if findings are positive. If your physician has performed this screening after June in the current school year please provide a Doctor's note of his/her finding and signature  and at your request it will not be done in school. Vision and hearing screenings will be performed on an as needs basis / or if problems occur.

All 8th grade students may participate in modified and available varsity sports providing they meet the eligibility criteria as listed in the Middle School handbook. For further information please go to the link marked " Modified Sports" .
