I am so excited to be one of your teacher's this year! I am just beginning
my eleventh year in teaching, and I can't believe how quickly it goes by. I
started my teaching career in the Bronx, where I taught Social Studies and
reading for 5 years to seventh and eighth graders. I came to MESMS in 2004
and love it here! One of the advantages of my job as a reading teacher is
that I get to work with many wonderful teachers. This year I will be working
in the Learning Center for four periods a day with grades 6 and 7. I also
have the pleasure of pushing into one of Mrs. W.P.'s English classes on Team
R.
I have been married for 8 years and we have twin daughters who were born in
January of 2008. But, our family doesn't stop there. We also have 3
animals. Our youngest is a long-haired Chihuahua named Wookie, who is going
to be 3 this year. We also have a cat named Whisper, who is 5. Our oldest,
and by far the largest, pet is Mattingly. He is a Rottie/Shepard mix. He is
5 years old and weighs 120 pound. He is also our biggest baby!
