About The Teacher

Hi!  I am Mrs. Monaco and I teach English.  I have been teaching 6th grade 
English for 12 years and love it!  I have two sons, Matthew who is 5 and 
Luke who was 2 in August.  I also have a 14 year old step-son named 
Andrew who practically lives with us!  When I am not in school, my life is 
very busy with my boys, however, I do try to have some fun.  I enjoy going 
to the movies, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends.

Mission For The Class

I hope to impart to you my own love of reading and writing.  For those of 
you who already enjoy English, I hope our time together strengthens your 
interest.  And, for those of you who find the subject difficult or not 
enjoyable, I hope to change that over the course of the school year.  In any 
event, I look forward to our time together!
