Tests count twice. · Quizzes, announced and surprise, count once. · Parents/guardians will be asked to sign all tests and quizzes once thay are graded and returned to the student. If necessary, calls will be placed to parents/guardians informing them of the grade. · Students will be given a grade each marking period based on class participation and preparedness. Failure to have a test/quiz signed within two days of its return to the student counts as a missed homework (five point deduction). This grade counts as a test grade (twice). · Checked homework is computed and counted as a test grade (twice). · Notebook checks count as a quiz grade (once).
