- "Classic Meets Comics" assignment - MUST BE IN SCRIPT!!!!
Due Tuesday, 11/10/09:
- Any student who received below a 13 on their "The Most Dangerous Game"
paragraph must get a parent signature.
- All students must make sure thier literary terms are definied - this
assignment was originally due 10/1/09.
Due Friday, 11/13/09:
- All students must save their comic life project to Mrs. Carey's folder, in
their correct period, in the student common folders. During this week, you
can fine tune your projects if needed.

Paragraphs, Article answers, etc) MUST BE SIGNED BY MONDAY, 11/30/09.
Please read your Independent Reading Book for 20 minutes every night.
Week of December 7th 2009:
Monday, 12/7/09:
- Finish in class work - answers to "A Kind of Murder" (full sentences,
restated questions, script and on looseleaf)
Tuesday, 12/8/09:
- Fix your answers to "A Kind of Murder" using notes you took in class while
we were going over the answers.
Week of December 14th 2009:
Due Wednesday, 12/16/09:
- Mystery novel covered
- Mystery Vocabulary and Terms defined
Due Friday, 12/18/09:
- Complete "Lamb to the Slaughter" activity began in class
- Mystery Spelling quiz and Mystery vocabulary and literary terms quiz
Week of December 21st 2009:
Due Monday, 1/4/10:
- Finish reading you 2nd Independent Reading Book
- Complete a Plot Diagram or Timeline for your 2nd Independent Reading Book
- Organize your binder according to the binder checklist you received on
Tuesday, 1/22/09. If you have misplaced this checklist you can download it
from my documents page.
- All Classes - Mystery Spelling Quiz and Mystery Literary Terms &
Vocabulary quiz signed if it is below and 80%.
