Homework is given daily Monday through Thursday. No homework on Fridays!
In addition to daily homework, students are expected to read daily. This
can be done in a variety of ways. You can:
Have your child practice reading aloud to you.
Read to your child. It is great modeling of what a good reader
sounds like.
Take turns reading every other page with your child.
If your child is a beginner reader, read to your child and pause
to let him/her read the words that he/she knows.
Have fun talking about the story with your child too!
