Ms. Roy is in her fifth year at RCK, her sixth in the district, and her
14th year as an English teacher. She recently received a Fulbright grant and
studied in Egypt and Israel for the summer. Ms. Roy has received
numerous mini-grants from the Mid-Hudson Teacher Center, Dutchess County,
and WCSD over the past four years and is active in state and local
educational organizations, like the New York State English Council, for
which she is the editor of their scholarly journal, The English Record.
