"Carpe Diem!" ("Seize the Day!")
• Do you want to "do well by doing good"?
• Do you want to earn a high school credit by helping out younger
students?
• Do you want to see what it is like to mentor and teach others?
• Or do you just want to find a creative and rewarding way to get
closer to your own high school graduation date?
Sign up to do 40 hours of "Community Service" as part of Richmond Hill's
Community Service Learning Program. You will earn one elective credit and
have a great experience in a volunteer setting.
Want to know more details about the program?
Look at the “Students List of Forms/Actions" and the "FAQ" (Frequently Asked
Questions) on this website. You can also print out a letter to give to your
parents explaining the progam on the "Student Documents" page.
Still interested? Think you meet the criteria:
• You are a Junior or Senior who gets out of school by 1:30 pm.
• You are in good academic standing (not failing your classes).
• You have an excellent record of attendance.
• You have a track record of being reliable and trustworthy.
If you can honestly answer yes to all the above, it sounds like RHHS's
