MYSTERY READERS

Twice a month parents, grandparents, relatives, or other special people come to our classroom as a "Mystery Reader." Students love having their family, friends, and relatives visit our classroom to share in our learning by reading a favorite book aloud to our class. Mystery Readers visit our classroom on Wednesdays at 1:30. Readers are asked to bring a book to read (needs to be a book about twenty minutes or less) or can read a teacher-chosen book from our classroom library (please let me know in advance). Five clues are read to students the day the Mystery Reader visits our classroom to see if they can guess who it is right before they come!
If you are interested in being a Mystery Reader in our classroom please let me know ASAP because dates to fill up quickly! An availability sheet is posted below so you can view the dates that are still available.

MYSTERY READER’S AVAILABILITY SHEET

(Dates are subject to change due to unforeseen event changes by the elementary office or calamity days.)

Please check your 1^st and 2^nd choice for when you could like to be a Mystery Reader to our class! Also please list your child’s name and your email address. I will try to accommodate as best as I can. I will email you your date to come read to our class. Also I will email you a reminder and for you to send me your five clues to who the mystery reader is closer to the date you will be reading to our class. Remember all dates are for Wednesday’s at 1:30.
