Card Club Feb. 8 & March 8(2:30 - 3:30)
Students grades 2 - 5 will learn a new card game each meeting. They will learnAge appropriate games such as Rummy, Uno, Old Maid, Solitaire, King’s Corners, etc. Students will use memory, strategy, math skills, and most importantly have Fun!
Card Club meets in the Media Center. Fee: $3
Mad Hatter Fri. Feb. 10th (2:30 - 3:30)
We will spend our time creating gorgeous hats from whatever inspires us. It may be a pirate hat or an extraordinary bonnet, The Mad Hatters will meet in the Media Center. Fee $5 No last minute sign ups.
Valentine Secrets Mon. Feb. 6(2:30 - 3:30)
1st- 5th grade students will make that something special for that special someone!. Students must be able to work independently and follow directions.Valentine Secrets meets the Media Center, With pick up promptly at 3:30. No last minute sign ups andNo Refunds.Fee; $5
Fun Fridays !! Friday, Feb. 3&24 March 2&23(2:30 - 3:30)
Fun Fridays
are time for making friends, team building, mentoring, and trying new experiences. We may play games, movies, technology, cooking, andFUN, FUN, FUN!!EachFun Fridaywill be a different activity for kids K - 5th. Please have your kids in comfy clothes and shoes (no sandals or they will not participate in sports) Fee: $5 in advance.
Lego Club Thurs., Feb. 2 &9 Tues., March 6&20 (2:30 to 3:30)
1stthru 5thstudents spend time with their Lego mates building and sharing ideas. Students need to bring their own legos in a container with their name on it,. The container can be left at school in the Community Connections area. Students must be able to work independently and follow directions.Club will meet in the Media Center. Students are to be picked up at the front doors of the BREC.Fees are $3 per session. Community Connections is not responsible for lost or stolen items, nor do they provide legos to work with at this time.
Number Crunchers EveryTues.&Thurs.(2:30 - 3:30)
Fee $5 per session or 4/$18
Is your Child struggling with Math especially those pesky Math facts?Number Crunchers could be the answer you are looking for! Students 3-5th grade can strengthen their facts and skills during Number Crunchers in the computer lab of the Media Center, with the assistance of a certified teacher.
Rock’in Readers EveryMon. & Wed.(2:30 - 3:30)
Does your child need to brush up on their reading?
Catch up with AR assignments? Here is the chance, and you don’t have to hound them to do so! They can get an extra hour of reading and when finished take the quizzes at school. Rock’in Readers meet every Monday and Wednesday in the Media Center. I can hear the kids now collecting AR points and discussing their next prize choice!

Homework Helpers Mon. -Thurs.2:30 -4:00
Students grades 3-5 will have help with their homework after school Monday thru Thursday. Certified teacher on staff. HH meets in the upper or lower areas of the Media Center. Please come in so that staff can update you on your child’s progress. Fees are $6 per session or 4/$20 paid in advance. If your child does not attend, without 24 hr. notice, that day’s fees are forfeited. School policies apply. Any behavior issues are an automatic forfeit of fees and the parent will be called immediately to pick up student. Behavior disruptions are not fair to the other students!
