En classe: Period 5 had a pop quiz. We reviewed and learned how to
ask/answer about people's names.
Devoir: Study all your notes / vocab.
jeudi, le 4 septembre
En classe: We reviewed question words, pronouns, asking & giving nams, que
veut dire, and reviewed for the test.
Devoir: Test on flashcard vocab.
vendredi, le 5 septembre
En classe: Students took the vocab test and we graded them. We had Q/A
practice.
Devoir: Study your vocab. Be able to come up with the French terms on your
own.

En classe: We discussed the syllabus [handout], chose names, and started
the student interest inventory [handout].
Devoir: Finish the interest inventory for tomorrow and have your syllabus
signed by Friday.
mardi, le 26 août
En classe: I collected the interest inventory and signed syllabus. We
started learning core vocabulary and copied the question word song.

mercredi, le 27 août
En classe: We copied and learned the question word song. We practiced the
first column of the core vocab list and students defined the terms on paper
[handout].
Devoir: Study your question word song and the first column of the core
vocabulary.
jeudi, le 28 août
En classe: We practiced the question word song and the vocab from the list.
We finished defining the list and the class made flashcards for the vocab.
Devoir: Study the question word song and the flashcards.
vendredi, le 29 août
En classe: We practiced the question word song and learned the pronoun
chant, which students copied into their notebooks and defined. We also
practiced the vocab list.
