Hello! I am a veteran teacher with over 30 years in the classroom. I
love teaching and am always eager to work with a new group of parents and
kids. I appreciate your phone calls, even at home, and I invite you to
become actively involved in your child's learning experience. Consider
spending time in your child's classroom.
On a more personal note, I've been married for 28 years and have 4
children. I'm a Defiance native and graduated from both DHS and DC. I've
traveled from one end of our country to the other and lived in Japan for 18
months.
If you know me personally, then you know that teaching was NOT my first
choice of profession. I wanted to be a surgical nurse, however, that was not
God's first choice. He put unbelievable obstacles in my way until I
discovered He was calling me to teach. Since I learned early not to say no
to the big guy.....end of story!
