Conclusion
Now that you have completed a Computer Exploration using the Web,
your research should have given you a better understanding of why computers
are an integral part of our world today. Through the journey you were able
to learn about many of the historical contributions that were made to the
development of the computer. You also should have discovered how a
computer’s components, hardware and software are important with making a
computer system operate. You researched computer careers and investigated
the future outlook for computers. And finally, you shared your computer
research with classmates. Hopefully the Computer Exploration helped to
reinforce that computers are very important tools in our world today.
Without them our lives would be very different. Remember, computer
technology changes at a very rapid rate, therefore one must continue to learn
how to manage these machines so that one doesn’t become enslaved to them!
