Getting to Know Miss Shell

My name is Alyssa Shell, and I am very excited to be working with all of the
wonderful teachers and families of Lohr Elementary this year. I graduated
from Malone University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood
Education. I have been working in the Perry District since January of 2008
as a substitute. Last year I was at Lohr working with small groups of
students as an Intervention teacher emphasizing reading and
math intervention. I'm excited to say that this year I will be at Lohr as a
1st grade teacher.

I am 24 and enjoy spending most of my free time playing with my two nieces (2
and 4 years old). I have three older siblings (one living in WA, one living
in Africa, and one living two blocks away from me). I enjoy playing with my
lab puppies: Josie (black lab) and Leia (yellow lab). I am a huge sports fan
and LOVE going to Indians, Cavs, Browns, and OSU games! GO BUCKS! When I'm
not cheering on my Ohio teams, I love traveling and spending time with family
and friends.
