About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
I am a 1990 graduate of St. Paul's High School. I then went on to attend Bowling Green State University. After 5 years at the University, I received an undergraduate degree in History and Political Science. During my later college years and after graduation from college, I worked for the Democratic Party in many different capacities. I then became disillusioned with politics and moved on to various retail jobs. After 5 years in retail I decided to pursue a career in teaching. I received my teacher certification from Xavier University. In 2000 I was offered my current position of Junior High Social Studies Teacher. I have coached Junior High Boys Basketball and Football and currently I am Assistant Junior High Athletic Director. I have also taught various high school classes. In 2009 I finish my Masters in School Administration and received my Administrators License. I am privileged to be able to come back here and teach. My wife and I are settled down and now have child, Jefferson Paul (JP). I have lived in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati and have found that Norwalk is the best place to raise a family. I have also found that after teaching in various schools that we, as a community, are very fortunate to have the school that we have here at St. Paul’s. I am committed to teaching students to become civic minded Catholics that will serve our community and our nation. It is important to teach everyone, not just students, the value of our community, the value of our democracy and the value of our faith. That there have been many people before us that have made many sacrifices to give us what we have today and that we have been truly blessed.
