V. Use the links below to explore and read poetry by the famous authors Emily
Dickinson and Walt Whitman. Choose one poem by each author to analyze. You
will be looking for the use of figurative language, imagery, and symbolism
within the poems. Compare and contrast the themes of the poems and style of
writing by the poet. On section 5 of your worksheet, write a 4 paragraph
essay reporting the information that you've found. Your essay should follow
