Newsbowl Online competition  began  in September.  All students participate in teams of 4 or 5 members .  This        assesses knowledge of current events. The best preparation is to get in the habit of watching national news.

January competition - we are awaiting results since competition is on-going until 2/3/12.

Current events  continue to be a weekly focus.

We are entering into a study of the Great Depression.

  
 Important website - www.taj.glencoe.com for eflashcards and study activities.  Use 2007 edition and State of Ohio. You will be given a code for on line text book as well as your text book.
