NewsFlash

According to the class discussion on Thursday morning, Wednesday evening went well. The children all seemed to enjoy the experience and were happy to have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Thank you to all your support and preparation at home. All the combind efforts seemed to result in a successful night. On Friday, we assembled the children in Rooms #7 & #8 for a group picture in front of The Good Shepherd banner. Their sheep are in the background. The event has been captured on film.

Conference schedules were sent home last week. Your scheduled time was circled. I look forward to our meeting times on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

There will be no additional spelling words on the test this week. Your children will be studying the 34 words in the spelling book for the Thursday test. It is a review week, and there will be no spelling sentence homework on Monday.

The timed math test will be on Wednesday and come home for you to "see and sign". All missed problems will need to be correctly written five times on the back of the test. We only have a few of the 20 problem tests left...very soon, 30. Keep practicing those math facts.

The children have voted to take this Thursday, November 12, for their out of uniform day for the October A.R. points. Also, all in Room #7 have reached their four points for the month of November.

We had perfect attendance on Friday. All my chicks were back in the nest. Here's hoping that the trend will continue and that everyone stays healthy. Thank you again to those of you who picked up the day's missed work at the end of our day. Missed work will routinely be found on the shelf outside our classroom.

Thank you to all our moms who were able to help us out at The Picture Person presentation this past Tuesday. The children LOVE to paint. Due to your assistance, most of that paint found its way to the intended canvas. The completed projects are on display and add a beautiful punch of color to our hallway.

Thank you to all those remembering to send notes regarding cough drops. Thank you for clearly labeling envelopes of money and forms that you send to school. It makes it so much easier for those things to arrive at the correct destination.

Following our Friday morning Mass, will be the start of this month's Thirty Hours Devotion. We will be exiting the church in a very quiet manner.

Hope you are able to make the most of this gorgeous weekend.

You have a wonderful fall week, and we will too.

Sincerely,

K.B.and Kids
