Dear Parents,
The children did a wonderful job at the Creation Prayer Celebration. I feel they have a grasp on the wonders of God's world and all He does for us. As you could tell they are thankful for all sorts of things. Children are gifts from God and I thank you for sharing them with me!
I wish to thank you also for your generosity to the school's canned good collection drive. Our class alone filled over 5 boxes with food that will help stock the pantries at OLL St. Vincent De Paul and St. Leo's. We truly are blessed.
Will will have our Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday, Nov. 24 as a thank you to all the special people at our school who help us. Our Thanksgiving break then begins on Wednesday and we will resume class on Monday, November 30.
Looking ahead, the students are working on our Dino-mite Dinosaur Dad's day. Dad's please remember to send in your RSVP.
When we return after the thanksgiving break we will be discussing Advent and the coming of Jesus. Hopefully your family has some wonderful Advent traditions or you can start some this year. We will talk about the advent wreath, the Nativity ,the birth Jesus, plus all the church holiday traditions.
Again, I thank you for all you do to help make Kindergarten a wonderful learning experience for your child. I hope you and your families have a blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving.
