Practice printing numbers 1-20 and begin number recognition for "teen"
numbers 19-30. Keep using your alphabet printing mat. Watch
your calendar for letter pictures coming up. All letters are due on
Thursday of each week. Please send them to school in the envelope provided
at Open House.
Daily homework consists of practicing printing letters and numbers (1-30)
throughout the week. As we complete our Reading books and Math books, please
review them with your child. Our Math series always has a "Family Fun
Activity" at the end of the book.
Please review "rhyming wheels" and mini books your child brings home. As
these "RHYMING WHEELS & SLIDES" come home, please practice and review these
new words. It's a fun way to build new words and language skills.
Monthly Lap Reading sheets come home attached to your calender. Please
record all books that you share reading with your child. Return completed
form at the end of the month for a special award.
