THIS MONTH'S GENERAL HAPPENINGS & MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS...
October is here...and so is the wonderful season of Fall. It is a time of
change, so take the opportunity to "change" yourself and work to improve
some aspect of yourself. Important dates to remember: October 24th is the
end of 1st Quarter and November 5th and 6th are Parent Teacher Conferences.
HONORS ENGLISH 9 & REG ENGLISH 10:
English students will be working on two major units this month: Grammar Unit
(Parts of Speech) and a Short Story Unit. Along with these two units,
regular Vocabulary Units will continue.
CREATIVE WRITING:
This month students will continue working on their Short Stories along with
various writing and poetry activities. Students should be pondering their
final short story genre category choice and plotline choices!
