My Philosophy and Mission

My Mission for our Second Grade Classroom is:

~ to foster a Christ-centered classroom environment in which all children
know they are loved, accepted, and uniquely created by God.

~ I strive to educate the "whole child," encouraging the spiritual, emotional,
physical, and intellectual health and growth of each student in my care.

~ I make every effort to infuse the curriculum with the teachings of Jesus.

~ In cooperation and collaboration with parents, I endeavor to develop in my
students a true desire and love for excellence in learning and life.

~ I promote the fundamentals of responsibility and accountability which all
students should possess in order to succeed.

~ I utilize cooperative learning in order to encourage teamwork and critical
thinking.
