This is my sixth year teaching at Chalker High. I obtained my BS in
Education from Kent State University; I obtained a BA in Psychology from Kent
as well. I am continuously looking for new novels, topics, and lessons for
my students to analyze, critique, and discuss in my classes.
I am just as eager to start teaching this year as I was my first year.
Through the presentation of new material and novels in my classes, I hope to
encourage each and every student to expand his/her mind in the aspect of
Language Arts. Students will be exposed to a variety of teaching
styles and lessons, including lectures, discussions, projects, and group
activities. While I realize that all students learn and perform differently,
each student is expected to participate to the best of his/her ability. It
is important for parents, and teachers, to encourage students to take pride
in their work and to be successful. Several ways of accomplishing these
goals are to have good attendance, complete assignments, and participate in
class.
I hope this year is a success for each and every student!
My goal is simple. . . to help you reach yours.
