I can hardly believe this is my 23rd year at St. Al's. I am very happy to
be back in the second grade this year. I am a long time St. Al's
parishioner and you may see me singing with the guitar group at
mass each Sunday. I am married and have 5 children and 3 grandchildren with
one more on the way! I love teaching second graders because they are so
eager to learn and make incredible progress in the course of one year! But
what I love most about teaching second grade is being able to prepare the
children for their first Reconciliation and First Communion. It is so
exciting to be helping them to prepare for these big events that they will
remember for the rest of their lives!
My mission for the class is to support and help each child to grow and
progress academically, spiritually, and emotionally in the second grade.
Our class is Christ centered and is an environment that promotes kindness
and a positive attitude.
