What is a MOOSE Binder? It is a 3-ring binder, put togerther by the
teacher, that houses EVERYTHING the students and parents need to keep up
with what is going on at school. No more wrinkled papers in the bottom of
bookbags. No more lost notes, newsletters, or calendars. No more lost
homework or assignments. Everything is in one binder.
Why is this important to have? This binder helps students to establish good
organizational skills that will carry on thoughout their time in school.
M.O.O.S.E. BINDER CONTENTS:
* Planner - signed Monday-Friday (Grade 4)
* Sign Math Facts Log Sheet Monday-Friday
* Grade 4 & 5-eight color tabs with pockets - This is where students will keep
homework and handouts for each subject.
- Important Papers (notes, interims, report cards, field trip
permission slips,etc.)
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
- English
- Spelling
- Reading
- Religion
M.O.O.S.E. BINDER RULES
* Please take vey good care of your M.O.O.S.E. binder. It will be used all
year.
* Take your M.O.O.S.E. home every day and bring it back with you to school
in the morning
* Keep your M.O.O.S.E. clean. Please DO NOT eat or drink while using it.
* Each day show your M.O.O.S.E. binder to your parents. They will be so
proud that you are learning responsibility!
DO NOT:
* Make any marks or drawings in your M.O.O.S.E.
* Leave your M.O.O.O.S.E. at home, daycare, in the bus or car. You are
responsible to bring it everyday!
* Put any papers or items in your M.O.O.S.E.that don't belong.
