On October 23, the school will have their annual walk-a-thon. We hope all
of the children will be able to participate. It's a great way to socialize
with each other and get some exercise, while raising money for our school.
Your child needs to bring in their permission slips and at least one dollar.
The school would like all of the children to meet their goal of thirty
dollars. We have purchased chairs and desks in the past with these funds.
The walk-a-thon starts around 9:30 and last til 2:00 with a break for
lunch. All are welcome to participate and meet other parents and siblings.
Our room mother is bringing water bottles for the class, but is asking for
parents to send in snack items that are healthy.
The following Friday is our Halloween Parade and Party. That will begin
around 1:45. Siblings may come and join in the fun. All parents are
invited. The children need to bring their costumes in their bookbags and
will change after lunch recess. We need parents to help with this change of
clothes.
On both of these days, the school day begins as usual at 7:45 and dismisses
at 2:45.
