Homework

Every night, you should be sharing reading time with your child. It has
been proven, that those who are read to become readers. Besides the
academic reason, it is a great way to have quality time with your child.
Read and ask your child for feedback. Discuss your reactions to the book,
too. Soon your child will be reading to you.

A little practice each evening, will help keep letters and numerals in your
child's memory. Give your child two letters and two numerals each evening
and have them write them 5 times each. They have worked with the letters
A,a,M, and m. We will be working with Ss next. The numerals are 0-10.

I will be sending home flip cards for the capital letters and the small case
letters. Then the children can start identifying all of the letters and
matching the capital ones with the small case letters.
