November 16 Homework: Now that you have finished the movie please work on
the compare and contrast essay. Please follow the format and include all
parts as I have illustrated. We will be in the computere room on Wednesday
to type the essays. They need to be written in your notebook by then.

November 9th Read AR for 40 minutes tonight and complete your reading log.
Read over your Venn diagram assignment and come to class ready to watch the
movie and take notes. Bring the venn diagram to class on Tuesday for
watching the movie.
October 16th: Reading Logs are due on Monday. You should be reading AR
every night for 20 minutes. Ar is due by Friday, the end of the quarter is
this Friday. READ!!!
October 13th
Octeboer 13, 2009 Read chapter 7 and write a two paragraph summary of the
chapter. Please remember the guidelines I gave you for writing summaries.
Also there will be a quiz on chapter 7.
October 6th Vocabulary test on Wednesday. Study, Study, Study!!!!
OCtober 5th: Vocabulary story is due on TUesday and everyone needs to show
me their notebook with the vocabulary written in it. This was due today, so
make sure you have it on Tuesday. The vocabulary test is on Wednesday.
October 2, 2009 Vocabulary should be written in reading notebook, with
synonyms, antonyms, definitions and parts of speech (we identified all these
in class) by Monday. Reading Logs are due Monday, Vocabulary story is due
on
Tuesday and vocabualry test is next Wednesday.
September 29, 2009 Vocabulary worksheets are due on Wednesday. New set of
Vocabulary was given on MOnday, Sepember 28th.
September 11: Reading Log is due on Monday, the 14th also remember dates
for when the vocabulary below is due.
September 8th, 2009 Here is the first vocabulary assignment for The
Outsiders. Please make a note of the due dates. Every student received
one of these in class today.
GRADE 7 READING VOCABULARY FOR THE FIRST TWO CHAPTERS OF THE OUTSIDERS.
Here is the schedule when everything is due. Complete the attached
worksheets. Do questions 20-29 first, then complete 1-19; the 20-29 should
help you with the first 19. These are due on Thursday, September 10th.
Then once we have correct4ed these worksheets in class write the vocabulary,
definition, part of speech, synonym and antonym in your reading spiral
notebook and this is due to be completed on Tuesday, September 15th.
Vocabulary story is due on Thursday, September 17th. It ;must be typed
otherwise ten points will be automatically deducted. You may email your

room. The vocabulary test will be Friday, September 18th.
