This is my sixteenth year at St. Cecilia School. The first nine years here I
was the 4th grade teacher. Six years ago I moved to the 2nd grade!
Previously I taught in Key West, Fl. as the Pre-K 4 yr. old teacher for 5
years. Before that I taught 3rd grade at Gressle Elementary (Holy
Trinity/St. Nicholas Academy) in Reading, Ohio.
I have 2 daughters: Jessica, 26, who just received a promotion at MCCS; and
Whitney, 24, who graduated from Bowling Green State University. I also have a
cat, Blueberry and a dog, Oreo. I also have Jessica's two cats and dog
living with me. I'm very happy to have a full family living in my house
again.
The goal for second grade is to have each student find success. In order for
this to happen, each student will need to have a desire to succeed. During
second grade students will be expected to learn how to be responsible for
their actions, homework, and belongings and learn that there are
consequences (whether good or bad), to their actions. Each student is
encouraged to come and see me for extra help when needed, in any area.
