Ms. Marois has been teaching the Kindergarten at St. Cecilia School since
its beginning, in 1988. Prior to that, she taught 13 years in four other
schools. She received her Masters in Reading from Xavier University in
December,2001. Ms. Marois enjoys gardening and updating her house, shopping
and lunching with friends, and reading. She has attended several
of the National Kindergarten conferences held around the country.
She has a daughter, Jeannette, who lives in Amelia with her dogs,
Wriggly, Kiley and Karson, Maddie and Riley and Crosley, Abby and Tinka.
Jeannette also has two horses.
The focus of the Kindergarten is to learn and practice social skills as
well as learn the foundations of the academic genres. Each child will work
within their abilities. They will begin where they are and progress at
their own pace. Each child has their own "learning clock". " Education is a
journey, not a race."
This is a partnership between parent, child and teacher. Communication is
