WELCOME BACK! This is going to be a great year! We are presently taking a
test that should be completed on Friday. This will help me know what we need
to review before starting the Algebra book. Each Friday during the first
quarter we will work on practice tests for the High School entrance tests. I
do not teach to the test, but I want everyone to be prepared to do their best
on these tests. I encourage everyone to take the first test in November
because all the scholarships to the various Catholic high schools are based
on that first November test.
Wednesday: September 7, Homework: Page 499 26-48 evens only
Tuesday: September 6, Homework: Workbook page121-122: 1-20; We did a lot
of the problems in
class, so you should only have about 10 to complete. Read the word problems
several times before giving up.....you can do them!!
Thursday, September 1, 2011: Complete workbook page 120. Use your book as a
resource.
Wednesday, August 31st: Complete page 119 in your Algebra workbook and use
your Algebra book as a resource.
Tuesday: August 30th: Two worksheets on using exponents.
Monday: August 29th: Complete worksheet packet on rounding and estimating
and rounding to add or adding to round.
