This is my thirteenth year at St. Cecilia and thirteenth year of teaching. I
live in Kennedy Heights and have lived there for 22 years. I graduated from
Northern Kentucky University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in middle
school education with language arts and math as my concentration areas. I
love sports-related things, especially anything to do with Ohio State
University (even though I didn't go to school there). My

day.
I would like for each student to become better acquainted with God by living
the way He would want us to live. I also want students to get the best
education possible, while challenging them to use this knowledge to think for
themselves. I want them to use their reading, listening, speaking, writing,
and thinking skills to be successful in life. I want my class to feel
comfortable to come and see me if they need extra help. The entire junior
high staff wants students to get that extra help if they want it. I want
students to become more responsible and accept consequences (whether good or
bad) for their actions. Each student can be successful at St. Cecilia, but
they have to want this for themselves, too. Through my teaching, I hope to
help them reach this goal.
