Here's what's happening in our classroom:

Theme (May 21-May 25):   Prejudice & Moral Dilemma

Reading:
We used the glossary to define new vocabulary.  We read a nonfiction article about hurricanes and answered comprehension questions.

English:
We took a test over pronouns. 

Spelling:
We studied words with the "ion" ending.  We played Sparkle Spelling to study.

Science:
We practiced using the "Skim and Scan" method to hunt for information about heat in our text.  We took a quiz using our findings.  Then we played an "I Have, Who Has" card game about heat and light.
