Look what we are learning this week in 3rd grade!
Spelling: Lesson 20
Reading: This week we will continue reading Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary
Religion: Ch. 7 Test on Friday
Math: We are continuing to take timed tests on multiplication facts. I know
everyone has hectic evenings, but PLEASE take time to help your child study
his/her facts!! Mrs. Hediel reports that 4th and 5th graders who struggle
with basic facts, struggle with higher level math skills too. Also, we have
completed lessons 1-6 in chapter 6 and will have a quiz on Wednesday. Then
we will launch into division.
SS - Ch 7 Communties and Their Histories This week will will learn about
the Jamestown Settlement We are looking at a test late next week on SS ch. 7
Writers' Workshop/English: We are studying parts of speech (currently
PRONOUNS)
and are learning about the writing process
