I am happy to introduce myself! I have been a member of St. James Parish
for over 20 years. All three of my daughters attended school here and went
on to Ursuline Academy for high school. My oldest, Annie, graduated from
Purdue University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and works in the
biomedical field. She is married to Sven Schreiber, and they have one little
boy, Calvin, who was two years old in April. My middle daughter, Bethany
graduated from Purdue in May, 2005 with a degree in Industriual Design and is
married to Erik Baar. She has a little girl, Clara, who was one in May. My
youngest daughter, Erin graduated from the University of Michigan (Sorry, all
you Ohio State fans!) and is currently living in Chicago where she is attending
Northwestern Law School. We have a dog, three cats, and a horse, so I am
always busy when at home. I enjoy gardening and home care.
8th grade students are the best!!
My goal for the St. James Class of 2012 is to teach them to take the talents
they have and do the best that they possibly can with them! Learn for
learning, not for a grade! Be proud of yourself and others will be proud of
you as well.
Developing good character in my students is a constant theme in our
classroom, and I am always impressed with the insight my students have to
offer!
