This week in class, Kindergarten is working on the following skills:
Letter U,u--beginning and medial position in words. We will work on Word Families such as -up, -ug, -ub--please look for activities coming home with your child to practice and reinforce these skills at home!
So far we have covered the vowels Aa, Ii, and Oo.
Reviewing all Star Words
Reading the new Star Words "go" and "do"
Math: Chapter 4: Numbers 0-10--students are learning to correctly write the numerals to 10, recognize all numbers to 10, compare sets from 0-10 and recognize number words. Ordinal Numbers--1st through 10th. Counting backward from 10-0.
Science: Groundhog's Day--Shadows--Hibernation
Religion: Chapter 14--Jesus Gathers Friends"
