Hello! To say I'm excited to teach Math to Middle School students would
be a huge understatement! Your children have made my first weeks at St.
Joseph very successful. While brand new at St. Joe's, I have spent time
teaching at St. Pius X Elementary, Gesu Elementary, Christ the King
Elementary, and also St. Francis de Sales High School. Having taught Math,
Science, Religion and Social Studies at these schools, I have to say my first
love is Mathematics.
I attained my Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, followed by
my Master's degree from Purdue University. While a Math Major at MSU, and
later working on my Master's at Purdue, advanced mathematics courses
included: advanced Calculus I, II, III & IV; Analytic Geometry I, II, III &
IV; Probability; Statistical Problems; Statistical Inference; Graduate Level
Statistical Methods; Graduate Level Data Management; Graduate Level Research
Methodology.
Upon graduation from Purdue, I headed home to Toledo and began a long 13 year
career in banking. I progressed in the area of Bank Marketing, initially
working as Marketing Director overseeing marketing, advertising, research,
communications, public relations and call center; later as Regional Vice
President, managing all NW Ohio bank branches of National City Bank.
I am married to a wonderful man, Brett, and we have one child, April. It is
truly a privilege to be able to teach your sons and daughters.
