A Famous Day
1. Go to http://ph.infoplease.com/?link=tmpltop LINK 1 below
2. Go to the Enter a Year box. Type in the year you were born. Click Go.
3. On the right, click on View a (year you entered) calendar.
4. Find your birthday on the calendar. Click on it.
5. Select 3 important events that happened on your birth date.
6. Select 3 famous people who share your birth date.
7. Research these events and people. Do not use Wikipedia.
8. Create a PowerPoint that describes the important events and famous
people you selected. Why are they important? How did they influence the world
or culture? Each person/event should use 1 or 2 slides.
9. In the second last PowerPoint slide, tell how you plan to be an
influence on the world.
10. The last slide should include the URLs for all the websites you used
for your research.
You will have four weeks for this project.
If you are completely finished, please add addition people or events.
