Reading

-   No homework. 
-   Frindle project - due Mon. 2/27 (assigned Mon. 1/30)
    Students were given the paper to use for the advertisement for their
      Frindle project


 Students need 12 points for 3rd Quarter
   1.   Books must be at least a 4.0 reading level OR at least a 3 point book
   2.   Class novel, Frindle, is worth 2 points
          

Social Studies
-   Study for Midwest Map Quiz on states/capitals - Fri. 2/17    


Other
-   Students may be given "pop" (unannounced) quizzes or other forms of assessment on 
    reading assignments given for homework in any subject.  It is important for students
    to read carefully so they are able to participate in class discussions, work on in-class
    assignments/homework, and participate in group work.
