Culture Circles 8

This project should be a blast and very interesting!

Students will work individually to create "culture circles" expressing values, traditions, activities, and places important to them.
Students will generate a list of many, varied associations with the word culture, record the words and phrases that come up on the chart paper, and connect them to culture, creating a web.
Students will agree on a definition along these lines: culture is the values, beliefs, and traditions shared by a group of people.
Students will choose SIX of the following categories to create a "Culture Circle" through graphics.  ONE of those choices must be Essence or Self.

What makes you unique?  What defines you?

Using the topics below, choose SIX pictures that define you/your culture.  Try to make them as unique as possible.  You may only use each topic ONE time.  Unless impossible, at least 3 of the pictures MUST be digital pictures defining your culture.  For example, First Communion is a part of many of your cultures.  You could bring in a picture of your First Communion, scan it and display it in one of your culture circles.
