Kindergarten Art Workshops

Karen Linser is an art teacher at Woodford Paideia School. She volunteers her time by request to offer "The Lady in the Hat" workshops to St. Mary kindergartners. Here are pictures from last year's workshops.

This year the classes will occur on two Saturday mornings: May 8th (9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) and May 15th (9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.). In the first workshop, your little artist will draw and paint his/her version of Matisse's "The Lady in the Hat." Each painting then comes to life in the second class as the children embellish their pieces through the use of pastels.

To reserve a spot for your little artist as space is limited, look for the sign up sheet in the white envelope. You will not regret it!
