Birthdays
- Please send treats for 19 students.
- Please send treats in individual portions, with napkins if needed.
Please send something that can easily be carried from the classroom to the cafeteria to be eaten with lunch. It is easiest if all treats are the same color or flavor.
- To minimize interruptions, students will not be permitted to take treats to other classrooms.
- Children with summer birthdays might wish to celebrate on their half-birthday or another date of their choosing.
Parents, please do not send party invitations to school for your child to hand out unless everyone in the class is invited. The children who are not invited WILL find out and feel excluded. Our code of conduct asks students to be sensitive to others' feelings.
Valentines
Some of the children have been asking about Valentine’s Day. On Tuesday, February14, we will not have a party, but the children may bring valentines to give to their classmates if they like.
If your child chooses to bringvalentines, please be sure that he or she brings enough for the entire class.There are 19 children in 4A and 18 in 4B. We will have only a few minutes to exchange valentines, so please do not write names on the outside. It is not necessary to send edible treats.
