Mrs. Ladner's Kindergarten Kids Are The BEST! |
All About Me!Hello Everyone and Welcome to Kindergarten! We are going to have a lot of fun
this year learning together. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and thought that you might want to know a little bit about me too. Here are a few things about me and the people (and animals) I love very much! I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I also earned a Master’s degree in the area of Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State in 1999. I have been teaching for the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District for 20 years. In those years, I have worked with students in the Kindergarten, First, Second and Third grade levels. These many changes have given me a broad understanding of where children have been and where they are going in the learning process. I especially love teaching my "Kindergarten Kids" in Room 19! My husband Jeff and I have been married for nineteen wonderful years. Our daughter, Clarissa is twelve years old and attends CVCA as a seventh grader this school year. We love going on bike rides and walks together and we also love riding roller coasters! We love all kinds of sports and atend many baseball and football games. One of our family's favorite sports is volleyball. I enjoy scrapbooking, church activities, reading (I read three novels this summer...yeah!) and exercise…well, exercise…most of the time! ☺ We have many pets at our house...a guinea pig named Twittles and a bunny named Oliver. We also have a new dog named Kady. She is a Beagle Puppy! My favorite food is salad with lots of tomatoes! I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and I enjoy ice cold diet Coke! My favorite colors are red and pink. I was born and raised here in Stow and went to Indian Trail and Echo Hills Elementary. This past summer I went to Cedar Point and Kennywood Park for vacation. We also went swimming as often as possible. My family and I had a lot of fun together! I am looking forward to a terrific school year together with all of you! |
