We have finished a LARGE unit about Weather.   This topic is covered in chapter D1 in our textbook as well as supplemental books, worksheets and other materials (videos).  Students also have a workbook packet to review from and a basic study guide.    Students can work on additional material on the sites on the Flashcards and Activities link.   The test will be this Friday, March 23.

The extended response items are:

2 points- How does the air pressure change as we go higher into the atmosphere?
               *D7
               * Think about the "pyriamid" idea.

2 points-How do our body senses tell us about weather conditions that are happening or about to happen?
*Focus on various ways of OBSERVING

Students can not usually find these answers word for word in the book. Many times these have been discussed in class. Also, they can apply the information from the chapter and other materials to answer the question.

General rule of thumb: If it is a 3 point question, I am looking for 3 pieces of information.

Students also need to know the chapter and booklet vocabulary and concepts as well as the information covered in the lesson review questions, Chapter Review and supplemental materials including the lessons in the workbook packet.
